Is any data sent to a server when I use this tool?

No. The PuTTY Terminal Generator runs entirely in your browser. No text you type, no session content, and no settings are transmitted to or stored on any external server.

Can I open multiple terminal sessions at once?

Yes. Click the 'New Session' button to open as many terminal windows as you need. Use the Arrange button to tile them side-by-side, in a 2×2 grid, rows, columns, or cascaded layout.

How do I change the terminal colors or font?

Click the Settings button in the toolbar to open the PuTTY Configuration panel. Under Colours, choose from 10 presets (PuTTY Classic, Solarized Dark, Dracula, Nord, Matrix Green, etc.) or set fully custom colors. Under Font & Size, pick any monospace font and adjust the size with a live slider.

How do I take a screenshot of the terminal?

On Windows, press Win + Shift + S to use the Snipping Tool and drag to select the terminal area. On Mac, press Cmd + Shift + 4 and drag. Maximize the terminal first for a full-screen capture, or use the 2×2 layout to capture multiple sessions in one screenshot.

Does this tool make real SSH connections?

No. This is a visual mockup and documentation tool only. It simulates the appearance of a PuTTY SSH terminal but does not establish any real network connections to any server.

What color themes are available?

The tool includes 10 built-in presets: PuTTY Classic, White/Light, Solarized Dark, Solarized Light, Monokai, Gruvbox Dark, Dracula, Nord, Matrix Green, and Amber (Retro). You can also set fully custom foreground, background, cursor, and selection colors.

Can I rename the terminal window title?

Yes. Click directly on the title text in the terminal's title bar and type your server IP address or hostname. Press Tab or click outside the field to confirm the new title.
